Primitive

Words and music by Chris Shortt (a.k.a BoogiemanCas)

I saw an eagle, attack a seagull
Drove it to the ground and left it for dead
I'm not so sure why it did that
Maybe it killed to feel alive

I saw two hunters, they were the Bunters
They pointed and laughed and left it for dead
I am not so sure, why they did that
Maybe they killed to feel like men

That's just the things that animals do
We all take it day to day
Primitive in all our senses
Wasteful and reckless
Life for what it's worth
Is valueable only yours
Everyone else disposable

I saw a president, of some government
Point at the camera and say we are coming for you
He started a war and thousands were killed
Maybe they killed for their self worth, who knows

chorus
break

I saw you my friend, to where it ends
who will do what you want without consequence
As long as it doesn't happen to me
I'm afraid it all comes around in the end
So, what will you do when it all comes back to you
